2. Insurance Claim Submission

• Homeowner contacts their insurance company to file a claim.

• The Builders Firm provides guidance on submitting the claim and shares inspection documentation with the insurance company.

3. Insurance Adjuster Inspection

• Insurance adjuster visits the property to verify damages.

• The Builders Firm meets with the adjuster to ensure all damages are properly documented.

1. Claim Approval

• Insurance company approves the claim and provides a detailed breakdown of costs:

• ACV (Actual Cash Value): Initial payment covering the current value of the roof minus depreciation.

• RCV (Replacement Cost Value): Total replacement cost of the roof.

2. ACV Payment Issued

• Insurance company issues the ACV payment directly to the homeowner, which is then forwarded to The Builders Firm.

3. Deductible Payment

• Homeowner pays their deductible to The Builders Firm before roofing work begins.

1. Material Selection and Scheduling

• Homeowner selects roofing materials with guidance from The Builders Firm.

• Project start date is scheduled.

2. Roof Replacement Process

• Old roof is removed.

• Any underlying structural issues are addressed.

• New roofing materials are installed.

3. Quality Inspection

• The Builders Firm conducts a final inspection to ensure quality and compliance with insurance requirements.

1. Submitting Completion Documents

• The Builders Firm submits completion photos, invoices, and required paperwork to the insurance company.

2. RCV Payment Issued

• Insurance company issues the RCV (depreciation reimbursement) payment directly to the homeowner.

3. Final Payment Settlement

• Homeowner forwards the RCV payment to The Builders Firm if not sent directly.

• Any remaining balance is settled.
